Calmar Bicycles is looking for both full and part-time salespeople to join our staff of professionals. We are looking for motivated individuals with a passion for excellence that will help Calmar Bicycles set the standard in the South Bay for customer service. Professional experience in a bike shop or experience in specialty retail sales is recommended but not required. We are obsessed with bikes and great customer service. Are you?

We admit it. We don’t stay on top of our closeout list like we should. Its been a -long- while since we have updated it. We’re closed today (the 4th), so what do we do? Work. Here is the current closeout list. It includes our 2009 demo fleet and aggressive markdowns on all our remaining ‘08 stock. Hurry, these bikes won’t last long.

We’re also having some unadvertised specials on our in-stock 2009 Ultegra and SRAM equipped road bikes. We have a very limited stock of those bikes. Sizes include 52, 54, 56, 58, and 60. You can call to check our stock but but you’ll have to come into our store to find out what we’re offering.

We will be closed Saturday, July 4th in celebration of Independence Day. We apologize for any inconvenience and will return to normal hours on Sunday, July 5th.

Thanks to everyone for making the demo great! We had lots of people riding bikes and we served up lots of beverages and sandwiches. We especially want to thank Danny of Santa Cruz and John of X-Fusion for hooking us up with bikes for the day. I posted some pictures in a gallery. Check it out.

We’re hosting a free Bike Demo of the new Santa Cruz Bikes. Santa Cruz Bicycles will bring a truck full of bikes. We’ll have the latest and greatest including the Blur LT Carbon, Blur XC Carbon, and Driver 8. We’re bringing food and beverages. Come up and check it out.
